Russia and Hungary signed a work plan for construction of the Paksh-2 NPP
The Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Péter Szijjártó and The Head of Rosatom Alexey Likhachev visited the construction site in Paksh to discuss the project for construction of two nuclear power plant units of the Paksh-2 NPP Project. The outcome of the meeting was signing of a schedule of works with a completion date in 2030. Rosatom has expressed its intention to use its best technologies and most experienced human resources on the project. As a reminder, preparatory work is now underway, and the first major piece of equipment will arrive in Hungary as early as spring 2024.
